Turf Is Open!!

The turf fields are finally open! However, they are currently open in a limited way just for games at the moment as the site is still a light construction site and much cleanup and landscaping still needs to happen.

So here is how things will work this weekend for home teams.

Parking at the Decou/Cropwell upper lot will be open but some sections will be blocked off with construction equipment or material. Only park in open parking spaces at the upper lot. No other creative forms of parking allowed. The club and township will be monitoring and you may be towed if parked on the grass or any illegal fashion. For overflow please go back out the lot onto Cropwell rd, go right and then right onto Evesham rd and pull into clear and open areas of the gravel/dirt parking staying away from construction vehicles. Parking can also be found down near the baseball fields.

There are a lot of cleared dirt areas around the complex and turf fields. Absolutely nobody is to be generally treading in these areas. You may have to cross some small sections but please keep the kids (and parents) out of the dirt.

The only access to the turf fields will be via the asphalt path running along the side of both fields. A gate at the center of each field will be used to go in and out. If moving from field to field do not cross over the dirt between. Go back out and in the other gate. There is plenty of space on the turf apron for spectators and teams. The team side will be the one with the benches.

Turf rules: No chewing gum (noun and verb) on the turf. All gum should be placed in the trash before entering the field. This is a serious problem with turf (obviously) so please be firm on this coaches.
Also no seeds, such as sunflower or pumpkin, and please be careful with sugary drink products even Gatorade.
No spitting, chewing tobacco and absolutely no smoking. Our complex has always been no smoking anyway. Bottom line keep it clean.
No pets on the turf for obvious reasons.

Some other turf things…
Regular plastic or rubber cleats should be worn. No metal spikes.
Special corner flags with rubber bases are to be used for the turf. They will be out on Saturday and will still be kept with the others in the small “travel shed”. Do not ever use a standard spike flag.

• Take I-295 N to exit 32 (Haddonfield/Gibbsborough Exit). Bear right onto Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
• Continue on Haddonfield-Berlin Road for approximately 1.5 miles (5 traffic lights). Turn left onto Evesham Road.
• Continue on Evesham Road for approximately 1.8 miles (4 traffic lights). Turn left onto Cropwell Road. (You will pass Virtua Memorial Hospital-Voorhees).
• Parking for the Decou Soccer Fields will be your first left.

• Take I-295 S to exit 34a (Route 70 E).
• Continue on Route 70 E for approximately 1.0 mile ( 3 traffic lights). Turn Right onto Springdale Road.
• Continue on Springdale Road for approximately 1.4 miles (2 traffic lights). Turn left onto Kresson Road (JCC on left corner).
• Continue on Kresson Road for approximately 0.9 miles (3 traffic lights). Turn right onto Cropwell Road.
• Parking for the Decou Soccer Fields will be on your right at top of hill, approximately 0.5 miles.

• Take 73 N to Cooper Road. Turn left onto Cooper Road.
• Continue on Cooper Road for approximately 3.2 miles (3 traffic lights).
• Cross over Evesham Road.
• Cooper Road turns into Cropwell Road.
• Parking for the Decou Soccer Fields will be your first left.

• Take 73 S to Evesham Road. Turn right onto Evesham Road.
• Continue on Evesham Road for approximately 1.8 miles (5 traffic lights). Turn right onto Cropwell Road.
• Parking for the Decou Soccer Fields will be your first left.

• Take I-295 N to exit 32 (Haddonfield/Gibbsborough Exit). Bear right onto Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
• Continue on Haddonfield-Berlin Road for approximately 1.5 miles (5 traffic lights). Turn left onto Evesham Road.
• Continue on Evesham Road for approximately 1.8 miles (4 traffic lights). Turn left onto Cropwell Road. (You will pass Virtua Memorial Hospital-Voorhees).
• Continue on Cropwell Road past entrance to DeCou fields. Entrance to Richterman Field is approximately 1/4 mile on left.

• Take I-295 S to exit 34a (Route 70 E).
• Continue on Route 70 E for approximately 1.0 mile ( 3 traffic lights). Turn Right onto Springdale Road.
• Continue on Springdale Road for approximately 1.4 miles (3 traffic lights). Turn left onto Kresson Road.
• Continue on Kresson Road for approximately 0.9 miles (2 traffic lights). Turn right onto Cropwell Road.
• Continue on Cropwell Road for approximately 1/4 mile. Richterman field will be on your right.

• Take 73 N to Cooper Road. Turn left onto Cooper Road.
• Continue on Cooper Road for approximately 3.2 miles (3 traffic lights). Cross over Evesham Road.
• Cooper Road turns into Cropwell Road.
• Continue on Cropwell Road across Evesham Rd. Continue for approximately 1/2 mile. Richterman Field will be on your left just past the DeCou complex.

• Take I-295 N to exit 32 (Haddonfield/Gibbsborough Exit). Bear right onto Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
• Continue on Haddonfield-Berlin Road for approximately 1.5 miles (5 traffic lights). Turn left onto Evesham Road.
• Continue on Evesham Road for approximately 1.8 miles (4 traffic lights). Turn left onto Cropwell Road. (You will pass Virtua Memorial Hospital-Voorhees).
• Continue on Cropwell Road for approximately 1.2 miles. Beck Middle School will be on your left.

• Take I-295 S to exit 34a (Route 70 E).
• Continue on Route 70 E for approximately 1.0 mile ( 3 traffic lights). Turn Right onto Springdale Road.
• Continue on Springdale Road for approximately 1.4 miles (3 traffic lights). Turn left onto Kresson Road.
• Continue on Kresson Road for approximately 0.9 miles (2 traffic lights). Turn left onto Cropwell Road.
• Continue on Cropwell Road for approximately 0.6 miles. Beck Middle School will be on your left.

• Take 73 N to Cooper Road. Turn left onto Cooper Road.
• Continue on Cooper Road for approximately 3.2 miles (3 traffic lights). Cross over Evesham Road.
• Cooper Road turns into Cropwell Road.
• Continue on Cropwell Road for approximately 1.2 miles. Beck Middle School will be on your left.

• Take the A.C. Expressway to I-295 North.
• Take Exit 32, bearing left at the top of the exit ramp, and turning left onto Rt. 561, Haddonfield-Berlin Road, toward Haddonfield.
• Go 0.8 miles to the fourth light and turn right onto Brace Road, Rt. 154.
• Go 0.2 miles to the first light and turn right onto Kresson Road, Rt. 671.
• Go 0.8 miles turning right several hundred yards before the first light into the driveway for the Johnson School
• The field is behind the school. You can park in the school lots behind the school or by the playground and tennis courts at the end of the driveway.

• Take I-295 South to Exit 32, bearing right at the top of the ramp and merging onto Rt. 561, Haddonfield-Berlin Road, going toward Haddonfield.
• Go 0.6 miles to the third light and turn right onto Brace Road, Rt. 154.
• Go 0.2 miles to the first light and turn right onto Kresson Road, Rt. 671.
• Go 0.8 miles turning right several hundred yards before the first light into the driveway for the Johnson School.
• The field is behind the school. You can park in the school lots behind the school or by the playground and tennis courts at the end of the driveway.
